This is my last blog from San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas.  We are off to Oaxaca at 9:00 pm tonight on a bus for a 12 hour trip!  The adventures here pile one on the other.  Our trip here has been blighted somewhat by several days of colder weather made worse by very limited heating in the large house we are renting.  We will take many memories with us of the amazing indigenous people, living very difficult lives here with fortitude and humor.  A "buenos dias" from us lights up their faces with wide smiles and a quick response.

San Cristobal has more shops, markets, restaurants than any other small town I've been in.  Entrepreneurs are plentiful and yesterday we had a typical example of very small restaurant, this time Thai (Comida Thai), with just four tables and four cooks operating in a room about 16 x 12 ft.  The food was amazing and the restaurant is number one on the list at Trip Adviser.
